I installed everything and inserted the key, but why doesn't the scooter turn on? Firstly, please check the battery and ensure the cap is parallel to the battery handle. Secondly, check the switch lever on the right back of the scooter. Make sure the switch is turned to “D” for drive mode and “N” for manual mode.

Is there a brake for the mobility scooter? Yes, there is an electromagnetic brake for the mobility scooter. It will automatically stop when you release the control lever.
